    The Pita Group, an integrated marketing agency based in Rocky Hill, is working with Riverfront Recapture to uncover the perceptions, knowledge and behaviors of the organization's various audiences that may be affecting engagement.   4. 75°, an Urban Greenhouse Party March 2

    Knox Parks is coaxing in the arrival of spring with a tropical party taking place in its greenhouse. The greenhouse will be heated to 75° degrees and decorated with lush plant life and an urban lighting landscape. Enjoy fresh eats, a DJ, and beer/wine are included in the price of admission! Snow date - March 4.

  6. Screening of Bicycle Dreams March 7

    Bike Walk CT (www.bikewalkct.org) is planning to bring a one night movie screening to downtown Hartford. Bicycle Dreams, the award-winning feature-length documentary about the Race Across America (RAAM). The screening is sponsored by and will raise funds for Bike Walk CT. In addition to the movie, we'll be setting up a social happy hour at a nearby downtown venue - details soon. The film, which has won numerous awards at film festivals all over the world, “is an up-close look at what RAAM riders go through,” says Stephen Auerbach, the director and producer of Bicycle Dreams. “They deal with searing desert heat, agonizing mountain climbs, and endless stretches of open road. And they do it all while battling extreme exhaustion and sleep deprivation. It’s a great subject for a film.”
