Event Descriptions

Our HYPE events are some of the most valuable perks of membership, offering multiple opportunities for our members to interact socially. Through these events, members build social and professional networks that can influence their personal well-being and career success.

Our social offerings also help create a community of young professionals dedicated to supporting and sustaining the Hartford Region.

Get HYPEd

This monthly gathering of HYPE members also offers prospective members an opportunity to network, meet HYPE members and speak directly with committee chairs to learn how HYPE can best assist entrepreneurs in the Hartford Region. This casual get-together is held at various locations in Hartford on the first Wednesday of the month and routinely attracts more than 100 attendees.

 

CEO Luncheons

These events offer HYPE members a unique opportunity to dine and interact with some of the premier CEOs in the Region in an intimate luncheon setting. Past CEO Luncheon speakers include Matt Fleury of the Connecticut Science Center, Kate Bolduc of the Greater Hartford Arts Council, and Jeff Flaks of Hartford Hospital.

 

Spring Fling

In May, we celebrate the HYPE Cup champions (link to the HYPE Cup landing page) and the return of warm weather to Hartford. Our event begins with a HYPE Cup awards ceremony and continues into the evening with a cocktail party for all attendees. This is one of our most well-attended functions with more than 200 attendees gathering in recent years at the Wadsworth Atheneum and Real Art Ways.

Workshops and Seminars

HYPE offers many personal and professional development activities that expose young professionals to the tools, techniques and current practices that will allow them to develop a competitive edge in the workplace and develop essential life skills. Past offerings included Franchising and Home Buying seminars, as well as a workshops on Fitness, Self Defense, and Downtown Development.

 

Events for Entrepreneurs
