Industry/Job Title:
Business Development Writer

Employer: Robinson & Cole
In his own words: I have worked in journalism, public relations and marketing since graduating from college 14 years ago (14 years, really?). After earning my bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, I worked as a reporter for the New Britain Herald for six months and then at the Hartford Business Journal for three years. I then worked for eight years at Quinnipiac University in the public relations department as a senior university writer for eight years. I earned a master’s degree in business administration from Quinnipiac while working there. I joined the marketing department at Robinson & Cole law firm in 2009. I write responses to requests for proposals to pitch the firm’s legal services to businesses and government organizations.

Future Aspirations: Professionally, I want to pursue a management position and continue moving up from there. Personally, I want to travel as much as I can. I have visited six countries and have so much more to see.

Personal Motto:
If you cannot laugh of yourself, you cannot laugh at anything.
