What does she do for work:
I am part of the Material Management Development Program which for two years allows me to work with four different departments/teams to learn all about material management. I love the dynamic feeling in each rotation, for six months I pushed priority parts on the shop floor and now I analyze the work in process inventory. I will miss being able to meet and work with so many different functions when I place out into a full time role in June.

Her hobbies and interests outside of work:
Since moving to New England, I love spending free time outside exploring the area. During the work week I am dedicated to early morning gym workouts but on the weekends I love finding a new place or adventure to go on whether walking Silver Sands State Park to tasting six of the Connecticut ice cream trail creameries.

Her favorite thing about HYPE:
My favorite thing about HYPE is meeting individuals who work in different professions, from teaching to waste management. Committee meetings and monthly events provide an outlet for me, a transplant to the Hartford area from Florida, to meet young individuals who enjoy learning more about one another and putting on events to better ourselves and the community around us.

Her community and leadership involvement:
Aside from HYPE, I am still involved with my alma mater, Syracuse University through the Generation Orange Leadership Council. The GenO Council is directed towards alumni who have graduated in the past 10 years with the mission to increase the engagement with fellow young alumni through events in major cities, social media campaigns and more. Whether you went to Syracuse or anther higher education institution, always stay in contact with the alumni office, they are there to help you grow professionally and connect with other alumni in your area.
