Job Title: Manager of Marketing and Communications
Committee Member On: Vice Chair, Civic Engagement Committee
Where he sees himself in 5 to 10 years:
As a lover of American history and true American values, I have always aspired to get involved in politics at some point in my life. Within our current polarized political climate, we find ourselves at a crossroads (especially young professionals). More than ever we are in desperate need of passionate leaders to mend bridges, quell inequalities, and spur on genuine progress.
His favorite thing about HYPE:
HYPE provides so many unique opportunities for young professionals in the Hartford region. My favorite aspect is the diverse offerings of events the organization provides. Event themes range from general networking with fellow young professionals to larger scale events where you gain valuable access to leaders, dignitaries, and stakeholders from across the region. These events have allowed me to not only forge critical professional connections but also valuable friendships.
His hobbies and interests outside of work:
Outside of work (and HYPE events), I am an outdoorsman, history buff, fitness junkie, and amateur photographer. Depending on the season, you can find me fishing, hiking, kayaking, or in any sort of museum; all while snapping pictures along the way.
What he is currently reading:
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre DumasThis is my second time reading it. I absolutely recommend this classic! It’s an adventure story that hinges on clashing themes of vengeance and forgiveness along with impossibility and hope. What’s not to like?
