Employer: MetroHartford Alliance

Job Title: HYPE Program Manger

Committee Staff Representative On: Ambassadors, Social Events

She is Currently Reading:
The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. I recently joined a Book Club and this novel is the October Selection. I just started it, but I can tell it is going to be a thrilling read. It is giving me Gone Girl meets Girl on the Train vibes. The Woman in Cabin 10 tells the story of a travel journalist who has accepted the assignment of her career; sailing the North Sea on the luxury cruise ship, The Aurora.  She witnesses a woman being thrown overboard, but everyone on the cruise ship is accounted for… Sounds good, right?

She loves Hartford because:

Hartford truly has it all! The vibrancy, culture and opportunities Hartford has to offer are unique; there is something for everyone no matter what interests or hobbies. I am especially excited for the Hamilton Tour at the Bushnell this December. Grabbing a delicious meal downtown and going to see a show is one of my favorite Hartford offerings.

Her favorite thing about HYPE is:
Having joined HYPE staff at the beginning of September, I have come to appreciate the beast that is HYPE. Working closely with the Social Events, Ambassador and Executive committees has shown me that team comradery exists across HYPE as a whole. I have also had the pleasure of collaborating with members through HYPE’s sports league, HYPE Cup. The diverse membership that comprises HYPE is quite impressive; with over 4,000 members, I meet new and intriguing individuals on regular basis expanding my sphere of influence and flexing my networking abilities.

Her hobbies/interests outside of work are:
I am an avid indoor cyclist; spinning is my Zen, a way to decompress and sweat out the day. I am a regular at Tribe Studio in West Hartford and love it! I have also dreamed about becoming a sommelier, so naturally I can’t resist Connecticut’s Wine Trail. Connecticut has 25 vineyards & wineries across the state. I am slowly making my way to all of them, I have visited 6 thus far. I am always on the hunt for CT good eats; my go to date night is Salute in Downtown Hartford; the patio is perfection, you can enjoy a romantic dining experience while overlooking picturesque Bushnell Park.
