He loves the Hartford region because:
After moving to the region in 2016, I quickly realized the passion everyone has for living here and working here to improve it. It’s exciting to be a part of a region that is determined to improve the area they call home. In addition, the Greater Hartford region has a lot to offer. I enjoy all the historical sites in Hartford (Mark Twain House, and Harriet Beecher Stowe Center), the dining and shopping in West Hartford, and the outdoor activities in Avon/Bloomfield. Lastly, it’s hard to beat the region’s proximity to other places. New York, Boston, Providence and the slopes in Vermont are all within a few hours.
He sits on nonprofit boards and a part of other groups:
In addition to working at a non-profit, I am involved with The First Tee of Connecticut, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, and the Chrysalis Center. I work as a lead golf coach with The First Tee on Saturdays and assist with after-school programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs and the Chrysalis Center.
He is currently reading: ‘A Life Well Played: My Stories’ by Arnold Palmer. As a golfer, Arnold Palmer is my idol. Mr. Palmer is a World Golf Hall of Fame member with 76 worldwide wins. As a golfer, businessman, pilot, Presidential/Congressional Medal recipient, and philanthropist, Arnold positively impacted the lives of so many. I hope to impact others as much as Arnie did throughout his life. ‘The most rewarding things you do in life are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.’ - Arnold Palmer
His hobbies/interests outside of work are:
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, skiing, watching and attending sporting events, following politics, volunteering in the community, and traveling. I’m also addicted to board games, puzzles, UNO and Sudoku. Most importantly, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends.
