What does he do for work:
My work combines a number of skills and requires certain traits that complement my personality into a truly rewarding process. I get to have a direct impact on an individual’s career path, be a part of the strategic planning that helps shape the demographics and future of a company, all the while meeting remarkable individuals along the way and building lasting relationships.

He loves Hartford because: Hartford adopted me in 2009 when I moved on campus to attend the University of Hartford and I moved here full time just before graduating in 2013. There’s so much to love about Hartford. While I firmly believe that Hartford is on the cusp of establishing itself as one of the next great young-professionals hub, like an Austin, Charlotte, or Buckhead (Atlanta), there is still so much to enjoy as it is now! Between the (literally) hundreds of breweries, the vibrant arts community, diverse natural amenities (swimming in the ocean in the summer and skiing in the winter with both only being a 30 minute drive in either direction), and really so much more, there is something for everyone. Hartford, to me, is a place that you can make into whatever it is you want it to be. Regardless of occupation, interests and hobbies, lifestyle, and so on, Hartford has the ability to be that place to fulfill your life.

He is currently reading:
12 Rules of Life by Jordan Peterson.  I would absolutely recommend this book, especially if you are someone that needs a blunt perspective about navigating what can so often be viewed as difficult or uncomfortable life experiences but still must be dealt with.

His hobbies and interests outside of work:
Fitness (CrossFit, powerlifting, Marathons), health & nutrition, learning and “life hacks.” Also have to get animals in there… I have some pretty lofty goals for 2019 that include completing my first FULL marathon, compete in the CrossFit Open, and work to make a dent in my “books to read” list.

His favorite thing about HYPE:
For me, I love that HYPE is more than just a professional network. It’s a group of like-minded people that are truly passionate, encouraging, and welcoming. From the first new member welcome reception I attended and the first Ambassador’s committee meeting to every new event and member I meet, everyone has been welcoming and genuinely interested in making me feel a part of the community.
