HYPE School Supply Drive

Aug 23, 2012

Attention HYPEsters! It’s that time of the year where children are (often begrudgingly) preparing for another school year. We all have heard the old saying “children are the future” and it is up to us to make it a bright one. A good education can make all the difference in the life of a child and that is why we are calling on you to help the local Hartford school system garner many of the supplies they are in great need of. HYPE has partnered with the Fred D. Wish Elementary School (Barbour Street, Hartford) to help procure supplies for the upcoming school year. We will be gathering all the supplies at the September 5th Get HYPEd at Pig's Eye Pub.

As a bonus to anyone participating in the 2012-2013 HYPE Cup season we will be offering a HYPE Cup point to any individual who donates 5 items, one of which must be off the “Most Needed” list!

Items Most Needed:
• Composition books (spiral bound)
• USB Drives “Flash Drives” (1 – 2 MBs)
• Dry Erase markers

Items Also Needed:
• Calculators
• Pencils
• Loose leaf paper
• Erasers (pencil)
• Chart paper
• Poster Paper
• Pocket folders
• Crayons
• Poster paint
• 1” binders
