Junior Achievement of Southwest New England (JA) will host its annual Partners in Achievement year-end breakfast
on Thursday, May 21st, 7:15-9:00am at the Hartford Marriott Downtown
The JA Annual Breakfast is considered one of Hartford's best opportunities to network with the region's top business leaders, and last year's event was attended by more than 400 people! Now more than ever, children need to learn financial responsibility, workforce readiness and how to start their own businesses. During this breakfast you will get to hear firsthand from students, educators and volunteers who have experienced JA programs.
This is an amazing opportunity for students to learn and grow professionally before even graduating college! We will be hearing from a few different students that day:
HYPE and JA teamed up in 2013 to create the Entrepreneurial Academy, a program that brings urban and suburban high school students together to gain skills in entrepreneurism, leadership, teamwork, ethics and career development. There are currently two separate classes in this program serving students from different parts of the Greater Hartford Region; one takes place at the JA offices in Hartford and is supported by The Hartford, and the other is hosted and supported by Stanley Black & Decker in New Britain.
The JA Entrepreneurial Academy will once again be the beneficiary of Tee it Up for Charity at the Travelers Championship
