Tee It Up 2015 Raises $17,000 for Charity!

Jun 26, 2015

HYPE's eighth annual Tee it Up for Charity at the Travelers Championship on Thursday, June 25th was a huge success! Over 250 young professionals attended this charity bash in the Pro-Am Tent at the TPC River Highlands to raise money for three beneficiaries: The First Tee of Connecticut, Journey Home, and Junior Achievement of Southwest New England. Everyone enjoyed the sunshine, music, and delicious food and helped us raise $17,000 for these fantastic organizations!

We lucked out with fantastic weather yet again this year, and couldn't be more thrilled with the turnout. After finishing up their rounds on the course, Derek Fathauer and Lee McCoy stopped by to mingle with our guests!

Beyond simply attending the event, everyone gave incredible support to the beneficiaries by bidding on the silent auction items and participating in the 3-hole golf tournament. Congratulations to runners-up Mark Michaud and Mark Natrillo, and our winner Daniel Raymond!

Thank you to the Travelers Championship for their support of this event!  It simply wouldn't be possible without their enthusiasm for bringing young professionals to the tournament. Special shout out to May, Bonee & Walsh, Zag Interactive and Travelers for their support of the event by organizing groups of their employees to attend!

We'd also like to thank Allegra Anderson Photography for the amazing photos, DJ David Rubin from Boppers Events for the great music, Powerstation Events for helping with the AV setup, Aramark for the delicious food, NoRA Cupcake for the incredible dessert display, and our beverage sponsor Budweiser. One last thank you to Salute for hosting a fantastic after party on their patio!

The biggest thanks go to the HYPE Community Involvement Committee Members for all their help making this event such a success!  From gathering silent auction items to making sure each area of the event ran smoothly, our staff is so grateful for their support!

More photos will be available on our Facebook page soon!
