Sep 01, 2016

We are pleased to announce that Nick Pinto has been appointed as HYPE Chair Elect! A dedicated member of HYPE since 2014, he will serve alongside incoming HYPE Chair Mitch Jackson, Associate Project Manager at UnitedHealthcare and Managing Partner of Northeast Payments, through 2017 before assuming the Chair role in 2018.

Nick is a Corporate Services and Industrial Specialist for the real estate brokerage firm, Sentry Commercial, and is currently serving his second year as Vice Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee. Under Nick’s leadership, the committee has grown and continues to thrive, with a clear mission to provide tools and resources for members to be more actively engaged in civic issues. In his new role as Chair Elect, Nick hopes to bring new and innovative ideas to HYPE by exploring new opportunities, and engaging new members.

“HYPE and Hartford has become my second home. HYPE has shown me what Hartford is all about and what opportunities are available. Although Hartford has its troubles, those troubles provide so many opportunities for young voices to help Hartford improve. To people who have not grown up or lived and worked in the Hartford area, Hartford is a Hidden Gem they do not yet know about. That hidden gem is something I want to help them find. Through HYPE, I believe everyone can find out there’s more opportunities in the Hartford region than they initially realize, and I look forward to helping them find that out.” – Nick Pinto

Please help us in congratulating Nick! We look forward to two more amazing years with you on the team! Nominations are now open for all 2017 Vice Chair positions.
