United Way’s Emerging Leaders Society (ELS) has an exciting professional development opportunity that will allow you to tackle a real-life business challenge while making connections with influential leaders in the community. ELS is hosting its first business case competition.

Teams will consist of 3-5 young professionals and/or graduate students. You can make your own team, or if you need help forming a team, let HYPEster
Christina Lumbreras know!
Teams will have just over 3 weeks to develop a business proposal and present a solution to a business challenge facing United Way. Each team will be assigned an influential business mentor who is a leader in the community who will provide guidance and serve as a resource for teams. Mentors are seasoned professionals ranging from entrepreneurs to top level executives!
The process will culminate with teams presenting their solutions before a panel of judges on 10/03/2017 at Dunkin' Donuts Park!
"I encourage you to create a team and get involved! This is excellent for professional development and a unique opportunity to put your leadership skills into practice. The presentation will be “shark tank” style, so invite friends, co-workers, and family to watch and cheer you on!" - HYPEster Christina Lumbreras
