Hanging Out With HYPE - The Big Mo'

Sep 10, 2018

Mark your calendars – The Big Mo’ is headed across the river this year to American Eagle Financial Credit Union’s new headquarters in East Hartford adjacent to gorgeous Great River Park on Wednesday, September 26.

The Big Mo’ is Riverfront Recapture’s signature annual fundraiser, and each year it’s held at an exciting new development project in the Greater Hartford area. We celebrated at UCONN Hartford last year, and it was a blast! Momentum and community are what The Big Mo’ is all about, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate both at American Eagle Financial Center.

Big Mo’ attendees will get exclusive behind the scenes tours of the building, complete with panoramic views of the Connecticut River and Hartford skyline. And it just wouldn’t be Big Mo’ without plenty of local flavor. Guests can enjoy live music throughout the night and delicious fare from East Hartford staples like Augie & Ray’s, Carmine’s, and Granny’s Pie Factory. Make sure to save room for beverages courtesy of Coca Cola, Thomas Hooker Brewing, and Hartford Flavor Company.

This is a casual event, so there’s no need to rush home after work for a wardrobe change. Come as you are, and join the celebration as you network, enjoy great food and drinks, and support Riverfront Recapture. For a limited time, HYPE members can take advantage of a 50% discount on tickets to this exclusive event by using this link (please remember that this discount is for HYPE members only, and we ask that you do not share with non-HYPE members)!

All procWessell.Lindsay.head shot.2017eeds from the Big Mo’ help Riverfront Recapture continue the momentum in our parks, at our free cultural events and festivals, and through our youth programs, improving the quality of life and urban vitality for all who live and work in MetroHartford.
