Business for Downtown Hartford is coordinating Small Business Saturday Downtown Hartford on Saturday, November 24th. Over 20 downtown merchants are participating and will be offering special discounts, giveaways, holiday offers and snacks.

In an effort to support local shops that make our communities strong, American Express launches Small Business Saturday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to Shop Small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.

Hartford Parking Authority will be offering free parking to all Small Business Saturday shoppers at 1212 Main Street near Dunkin Donuts Park.

Business for Downtown Hartford (BFDH) was founded in 1989 as a grassroots organization of concerned businesses. BFHD is a non-profit networking and advocacy group for the central business district. It is committed to developing programs and providing advocacy that will foster and promote the success of business in downtown Hartford.
