Dinner and a movie? Kind of over-done.
Romantic stroll around town? Let’s be real. It’s winter in Connecticut.
If you’re looking to spice up your Valentine’s weekend plans this year, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra is here to help! Running from Friday, February 15 through Sunday, February 17, Latin Lovers is the perfect Latin-inspired evening. Audience members will get to hear everything from tango to dance hall music inside of the beautiful Belding Theater at The Bushnell, located at 166 Capitol Ave. in Hartford.
This concert will feature premier musicians from the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, as well as Julien Labro on bandoneón. Said to be able to make the instrument “sing, swing and sway” by the Chicago Tribune, he’s sure to put on a memorable show. Cocktails and snacks will be available for purchase, and guests are welcome to attend a pre-concert talk, where you can learn more about the music, one hour prior to each performance! Nothing is more romantic that spoiling your loved one with a night of fantastic music- so don’t miss your chance!
Latin Lovers is open to the public. Tickets begin at $38, are available for $10 to students with valid ID, and $25 tickets are available on Saturday evening for patrons age 40 and under.
