Junior Achievement of Southwest New England delivers a relevant, hands-on experience to local K-12 classrooms, with a focus on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. JA programs will be provided to over 47,000 students in Connecticut this year, with a goal to reach more than 55,000 students by 2022. These programs are delivered at no cost, thanks to the generosity of businesses, foundations and individuals like you.
On Tuesday, May 21st, JA will be hosting Networking Bowl-A-Thon at Lessard Lanes in Plainville. Lessard Lanes is generously offering a free game of mini golf on their indoor mini golf course for all participants! The JA Spring Networking Bowl-A-Thon consists of local company employees, JA supporters, and other individuals forming teams to raise funds to benefit Junior Achievement programs. This dynamic event can be a great teambuilding experience for you and your colleagues and it will allow you to engage and interact with participants across industries.
A $25 registration fee grants you two hours of bowling, food, soft drinks, and the opportunity to win fun prizes. Each bowler is expected to raise a minimum of $100 individually, which is enough to allow JA to provide a life changing experience to two local students!
Help JA reach their goal of $10,000 through a fun evening of teamwork and excitement to bring financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to Connecticut students and inspire their futures.
