The Partnership of Girona Ventures and Wonder Works Construction began their investment in Hartford with the historic renovation of The Sonesta Hotel at 5 Constitution Plaza into the 193-unit Spectra on the Plaza luxury apartment building. They have since acquired three more properties in downtown Hartford. Spectra is renovating the 100 unit 100 Trumbull Street (now known as Spectra Park) apartment building on Bushnell Park, and are converting the 12-story 101 Pearl Street office building and adjoining 7-story 111 Pearl Street office building into 258 luxury market rate apartments, with many amenities, including a rooftop indoor/outdoor lounge overlooking Bushnell Park.
