How do you develop your professional network, expand your circle of friends and professional mentors, and create lasting friendships in early adulthood? By finding others that share the same values towards improving the community you live and work in.
United Way Emerging Leaders Society’s (ELS) Case Competition gives you the chance to network with beginning and mid-career professionals while giving back to children and families in your community.
The ELS Case Competition is a six-week experience in which teams develop as leaders and apply their talents. Teams will be paired with executive mentors to create and present innovative solutions for the challenges that come with an ever-changing environment. Teams compete before a panel of judges with the winning idea being tested in our region.
ELS welcome young professionals to form a team. Teams consist of 3-5 young, local professionals from the same workplace who live or work in Central or Northeastern Connecticut. United Way will pair you with a mentor from the local business community, host an informational session and provide you with the tools and resources you need to help you take the next step in your career. Team Registration Deadline: Tuesday, August 27
